We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team and help us build and nurture a vibrant online community on Pensil.in. As a Community Manager, you will play a key role in setting up, growing, and managing our community platform, fostering engagement, and creating a lively online environment for our members.
Responsibilities:
Set Up Community: Establish the foundation of our community on Pensil.in by developing Community Guidelines, creating Groups, organizing Events, crafting Welcome Messages, setting up Forums, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Grow Community: Actively recruit new members, engage with potential community participants, and implement strategies to expand the community’s reach and membership base.
Create Content: Generate engaging and relevant content to keep community members informed, entertained, and involved. This includes written posts, multimedia content, polls, and other interactive materials.
Schedule Posts: Plan and schedule regular posts to maintain a consistent online presence, ensuring that community members have fresh and valuable content to engage with regularly.
Make Community Active and Alive: Encourage discussions, moderate conversations, and initiate activities that keep the community dynamic, active, and vibrant.
Set Up Private Groups: Establish exclusive private groups within the community, providing premium content related to our paid courses, and ensuring members receive unique value for their investment.
Increase Community Engagement: Implement creative strategies to boost community engagement, such as organizing contests, live sessions, Q&A sessions, and other interactive events.
Manage Community Ongoingly: Continuously monitor community interactions, respond to queries, resolve disputes, and maintain a positive atmosphere within the community. Provide regular updates to the management team on community performance and engagement metrics.
Requirements:
Proven experience in community management, preferably in an educational or online course setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage community activities and schedules effectively.
Familiarity with community platforms, especially Pensil.in, and a good understanding of online community dynamics.
Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging content and activities to foster community engagement.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively address community challenges.
Experience in moderating online discussions and maintaining a positive, respectful environment within a community.
Flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the community and the organization.
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management is a plus.
