Looking for DevOps Developer

About the Role:

We are actively seeking a proficient DevOps Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, overseeing, and optimizing our deployment operations, helping bridge the gap between development and IT operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and reliable function of our applications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to streamline code deployment processes.
Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management, CI/CD, and infrastructure deployment pipelines.
Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
Develop and maintain solutions for operational aspects such as auto-scaling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Address issues related to source code version control, build and release artifacts, deployment scripts, and infrastructure as code.
Manage cloud resources, including setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Promote best practices in DevOps and agile methodologies.
Implement automated tests and monitoring in all stages of the CI/CD pipeline.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure the organization’s adaptation and competitiveness.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years.
Knowledge of one or more CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of network protocols, IP networking, and system monitoring tools.

Nice to Have:
Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
Certifications in cloud services or DevOps tools.
Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
